Virtual Classroom FAQ

Course Delivery and Format

What are the benefits of attending a Virtual Classroom course?

A Virtual Classroom with EA Learning is a fully interactive course conducted via Zoom, led by an instructor dedicated solely to the virtual session. We do not combine Virtual Classrooms with In-Person Classroom courses; each format is run independently. Our classes are intentionally kept small, typically with fewer than 25 participants, to enhance the learning experience.

We never compromise on quality. Our instructors are fully committed to the virtual classroom, allowing participants to interact freely and ask questions at any time, receiving the instructor’s undivided attention. To maintain a productive learning experience, we schedule frequent breaks throughout the day, with a minimum of three breaks each day.

What technology is required to attend a Virtual Classroom?

To participate in a Virtual Classroom course with EA Learning, all you need is a reliable internet connection, a camera, a microphone, and a computer — no additional setup is usually necessary. Course materials are provided electronically via our Course Material Portal.

If you're using a work laptop, we recommend checking with your organisation about any security settings that might restrict access to Zoom, Miro, or downloading files. Additionally, if you've registered with a work email address, please whitelist our domain (@elearning.com) to ensure you receive all relevant course communications.

What are the benefits of a Virtual Classroom?

Virtual Classroom courses offer the flexibility to learn from anywhere, including the comfort of your own home, and allow you to choose courses in the time zone that best suits you. These courses provide many of the same advantages as in-person classes: you can engage directly with your instructor, interact with fellow participants, and have your questions answered in real time. The collaborative environment enables you to hear others’ real-life experiences related to the course topic, just as you would in a physical classroom. Additionally, you have the opportunity to connect with attendees from around the world, gaining insights from diverse perspectives and unique challenges.

What happens if I experience technical difficulties during the training?

If you experience technical difficulties during the training, it’s recommended to contact EA Learning as soon as possible. Our team will be able to assist with troubleshooting issues or make alternative arrangements to ensure you can continue with the training.

Will there be opportunities for interaction with the instructor and other participants?

Absolutely. In a Virtual Classroom with EA Learning, participants can engage with both the instructor and fellow attendees throughout the entire course, just as they would in an in-person setting. Our Virtual Classrooms are designed to be fully interactive, utilising Zoom to facilitate real-time communication through webcams and microphones. You can also take advantage of features like chat, Q&A sessions, and group discussions and activities.

I have a team that I would like to have trained; Can EA Learning facilitate private Virtual Classrooms for my organisation?

What is the difference between a Virtual Classroom and an eLearning course?

The Virtual Classroom is our most popular class delivery method among participants. It features live instruction by an experienced instructor and includes real-time interaction with other class participants. This format is highly favored because it offers the opportunity to hear the instructor’s real-world insights and contextual examples, as well as the ability to ask questions and engage in discussions. Participants also appreciate the flexibility of choosing from a wide range of class dates and start times. These classes are scheduled to run from 9 AM to 5 PM in the local time of the listed city, with breaks provided throughout the day, including in the morning, at lunch, and in the afternoon, along with additional shorter breaks.

In contrast, eLearning courses are self-paced and self-guided, allowing you to complete the course on your own schedule. With eLearning, you have access to a course portal for a set period to work through the material at your convenience. Tutor support is available, but there is no fixed schedule or live interaction with an instructor or other participants.

I am interested in a Virtual Classroom course, however it is being held in a different time zone than the one I am in. Can I attend?

You can join any Virtual Classroom session regardless of your location. Many participants choose to attend courses outside their time zone if it better fits their work schedule or lifestyle. One advantage of this is the opportunity to hear real-life examples and stories from others in the course who are from different parts of the world, offering diverse perspectives and insights.

Because the course is Virtual, does that mean there will be many people attending?

No, whether you attend a Virtual Classroom or an In-Person Classroom course with EA Learning, class sizes are intentionally kept small. Typically, there are fewer than 25 participants in each session. This allows us to maintain a premium training environment where every participant has the opportunity to interact with the instructor, ask questions, and fully engage in the learning experience.
