Throughout our course, students also work in cohorts on a case study (Learning Studies) to begin to learn how to apply TOGAF EA concepts in real-world situations. Upon passing their exams and receiving their TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certifications, our students are eligible to be awarded an Applied TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner badge Issued by The Open Group.
Our intensive program combines the competencies of TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation with the TOGAF® Enterprise Architect Practitioner. Whilst working towards becoming TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition certified, this course will provide you with clear guidance on how to develop transformative enterprise architecture.
The TOGAF® standard, 10th Edition is a paradigm shift from 9.2 integrating universal concepts, proven best practices and emerging ideas.
From Monolith to Micro Services:
As part of The Open Group’s evolution ‘from universal to unique’ the one monolithic document 9.2 has become six separate documents known as the Fundamental Content (the universal concepts). Also included are 20 series guides, which will grow over time, for specialist content (best practice) . This speaks to specific types of architecture, for example Applying the TOGAF ADM using Agile Sprints or Integrating Risk and Security within a TOGAF Architecture. Finally, the introduction of bodies of knowledge (BOK) for different learning outcomes including Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Specialist, Leader. It is noted that more will follow to enable differing learning pathways.
Easier Adoption:
An online digital standard has been introduced with a much-simplified navigation. This paves the way for easier adoption. As each enterprise is unique, the specialist guidance may or may not apply. For example, you may be undergoing a significant digital transformation but not be using Agile. Use the distinct hierarchy of content that fits with your unique enterprise.
Extended Guidance for Practitioners, Leaders and Specialists:

The TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation certification provides validation that an individual has the basic knowledge and understanding of the Enterprise Architecture using the TOGAF approach, sufficient to be able to contribute to an architecture project or work with the results. The TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification provides validation that an individual has the knowledge, comprehension, and ability to analyse and apply the TOGAF Standard to developing, sustaining, and using an Enterprise Architecture. After passing your TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner exams, you will earn your TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation badge, TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner badge, and Applied Practitioner Badge to display.
Knowledge of TOGAF® is highly useful to anybody involved in business transformation and capability improvement, including Enterprise, Business and IT Architects, Business and Systems Analysts, as well as Business Executives and Managers, Program, Project and Change Managers, and Subject Matter Experts.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites. A prior knowledge of Enterprise Architecture is advantageous but not required.
NOTE: Are you already certified in TOGAF® Standard, Version 9 (Including 9.1 or 9.2)? Please choose our TOGAF® EA – Practitioner Bridge class. You will not be eligible to take the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Bridge exam by completing this course.
The TOGAF® certification program is knowledge-based. The TOGAF® certification program is a market-driven education and certification program that ensures individuals have knowledge and understanding of the TOGAF® Body of Knowledge.
Certification is only achieved by passing the examination at your home or in your office using Pearson VUE OnVUE delivery or at a Pearson VUE test center.
To become certified for TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation attendees must pass the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 1 exam. This is a multiple-choice examination consisting of 40 questions to be answered within 60 minutes. The Pass Mark is 24/40 (60%). It is a supervised, closed book exam.
To become certified for TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner attendees must pass the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Part 2 exam. This is a complex multiple-choice scenario-based examination consisting of 8 questions to be answered within 90 minutes. The Pass Mark is 24/40 (60%). It is a supervised, open book exam.
At the end of the training, you will be prepared to sit your certification exams. Your exam vouchers will be distributed at the completion of your class, you can then make appointments for your exams with Pearson VUE. The exam vouchers are valid for 12 months.
The Open Group Certified: Applied TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner badge
Individuals who have satisfactorily completed the TOGAF® EA – Foundation and Practitioner course with EA Learning and passed both exams, are eligible for The Open Group Certified: Applied TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner badge Issued by The Open Group. Upon passing your exams, simply contact EA Learning support providing your Candidate ID. EA Learning will then submit your candidate ID to The Open Group for badge issuance. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing.
The Open Group publishes the definitive directory of certified individuals, and issues certificates and Open Badges. The duration of certification is indefinite – certification is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements.

The TOGAF Foundation (Part 1) exam lasts 60 minutes, includes 40 questions, and is closed-book. Non-native English speakers may receive an extra 30 minutes. The required pass mark is 60%. The TOGAF Practitioner (Part 2) exam involves 90 minutes and eight questions, also with a 60% pass threshold.
