Dr Rod Dilnutt is a highly motivated catalyst of digital change with a proven ability to influence complex stakeholder networks and drive transformational change.

Dr Rod is an executive consultant with experience spanning over 30 years, and an internationally recognised thought leader in strategic and architectural transformation.  Rod’s career journey began as a business analyst and his experience includes leadership in a Big 4 consulting firm and as Founder and Director of William Bethwey & Associates. Sometime in that journey he became a business architect, adept at joining the dots between business and technical issues.
He is an Industry Fellow at The University of Melbourne where he specialises in enterprise architecture conducting research and lecturing in Higher Degree programmes. He has authored over 70 publications and a book on Organisational Change. Consequently, he is a sought-after expert for leading companies confronting challenges brought about by disruptive technologies and the need to transform organisational cultures to adopt radically different paradigms of work and the creation of value.

Rod is a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society, A Fellow of the British Computer Society, and member of the ACS Management Committee. He was recognised as the ICT Professional of the year, 2013 in the national iAwards.

As a management consultant, he has trained many clients and staff in business analysis and project management methods and believes education is the key to advancement at individual, professional and societal levels.  As a recognised expert in enterprise architecture and strategic change he lectures and supervises higher degree and research programs providing insight from his long experience.  His commitment extends to providing advice to University Advisory Boards to ensure the latest trends in business technology become embedded in curriculum. And as a Board member of the ACS Rod champions professional development programs to uplift the skills of the ICT community at large.
