The ArchiMate® Certification for People Program is an education and certification initiative that supports the use of the ArchiMate modelling language, ensuring that individuals are well-versed in this visual modelling language.
The ArchiMate Specification, which is a standard of The Open Group, establishes an open and independent modelling language for Enterprise Architecture that receives support from various tool vendors and consulting firms.
The ArchiMate language empowers Enterprise Architects to effectively describe, analyse, and visualize the interactions between business domains in a clear manner. Utilizing the ArchiMate language provides users with the advantage of having a common language for the description of the construction and operation of business processes, organizational structures, information flows, IT systems, and technical infrastructure.

Module 1 provides the introduction to the ArchiMate standard, 3.2 specification, including the objectives, a brief overview, and key terminology used in the standard.
Module 2 describes the structure of the ArchiMate modeling language, including the top-level structure, layering, the ArchiMate Core Framework, and the ArchiMate Full Framework.
Module 3 describes the structure and elements of the ArchiMate generic metamodel.
Module 4 describes the core set of relationships defined in the ArchiMate language.
Module 5 describes the concepts for expressing the motivation for an architecture, together with examples.
Module 6 provides elements for modeling the enterprise at a strategic level, together with examples.

Pearson Vue is the designated certification exam provider for TOGAF®, IT4IT®, and ArchiMate®, operating a global network of testing centres for exams.

In the ArchiMate 3 program, candidates must undertake the Part 1 and Part 2 exams separately as there is no combined test available.
