Foundation Module 1: What is Agile Project Management?

This module discusses AgilePM along with the purpose and philosophy of the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM).

Foundation Module 2: The DSDM Principles

This module provides students with an overview of the eight principles of DSDM.

Foundation Module 3: The DSDM Roles and Responsibilities

This module looks at the roles and responsibilities within DSDM at the project and solution development levels, as well as in supporting roles.

Foundation Module 4: The DSDM Products

This module describes the 14 products used within the DSDM approach.

Foundation Module 5: The DSDM Process

This module describes the different phases within a standard DSDM project.

Foundation Module 6: Planning and Control

This module looks at how to plan projects as effectively as possible.

Foundation Module 7: MoSCoW Prioritisation and Timeboxing

This module examines two of the most essential elements of AgilePM: MoSCoW Prioritisation and Timeboxing.

Practice Exam Simulators

This module features two practice AgilePM Foundation exams. One is provided by APMG, while the other comes from the online training team at Good e-Learning. Students are encouraged to fully familiarise themselves with all Foundation modules before attempting a practice exam.

Practitioner Module 3: The DSDM Roles and Responsibilities (Recap & Quiz)

Practitioner Module 4: Communicating for Success

This module describes the biggest communication challenges typically found within a project, as well as several potential solutions. It then uses the interactive case study to show how to study, identify, and solve communication issues.

Practitioner Module 5: The DSDM Products (Recap & Quiz)

This module begins with a quiz on the content covered at the foundation level. It then uses the case study to demonstrate how to apply DSDM products to a project.

Practitioner Module 6: The DSDM Process (Recap & Quiz)

Practitioner Module 7: Planning and Control (Recap & Quiz)

Practitioner Module 9: Requirements, User Stories and Estimation

This module describes requirements and user stories, along with estimation techniques. It then uses the interactive case study to demonstrate how to utilize requirements, user stories, and estimation in practice.

Practitioner Module 10: Managing the Project

This module begins by describing risk and quality management techniques. It then uses the interactive case study to demonstrate how to apply them in practice.

Next, the module offers input on how to use the Project Approach Questionnaire to tailor products. It then uses the interactive case study to show this in action.

Exam Information

This course has been developed to prepare students to successfully pass both the Agile Project Management Foundation and Practitioner exams.

Before scheduling your exam, it is advisable to check that your device meets the required technical specifications, as AgilePM exams are supervised online by ProctorU on behalf of APMG International. Visit the APMG International website for more information.

Voucher requests are generally processed within 2 working days, though we ask you to allow up to 5. Remember to request your exam voucher during the access period of the course, starting from your purchase date.

AgilePM Foundation exam:

  • This is a multiple choice exam consisting of 50 questions
  • There is a time limit of 40 minutes to complete the exam
  • The exam is closed book, with only the provided materials being permitted for use
  • The pass mark for the exam is 50%: you must get 25 out of 50 questions correct

Agile PM Practitioner exam:

  • Scenario-based objective testing
  • 80 multiple-choice questions based on a full project scenario provided on the first page
  • There is a time limit of 2 hours and 40 minutes to complete the exam (160 minutes)
  • Questions are divided into four sections, with 20 questions per section
  • Each section adds to the events of the original scenario
  • The exam is open-book
  • The pass mark for the exam is 50%: you must get 40 out of 80 questions correct
