This module provides an overview of the course, including its learning plan, objectives, structure, and main features. Students receive a diagram pack, glossary, further reading materials, and links to download essential framework publications. Additionally, this module addresses common questions about the M_o_R Practitioner course.

Module 1: Foundation Recap 1

Revisit the Perspectives, Approach, and Principles of M_o_R. This module helps students understand how to measure the value of M_o_R and covers supporting documents such as the Issue Register.

Module 2: Foundation Recap 2

This module revisits the M_o_R Process, detailing how to embed and review M_o_R within an organisation. It also expands on the tools and techniques of the framework, explaining their use at different steps within the Process

Module 3: M_o_R Practitioner Scenario Introduction

Establish a scenario-based practice in this module, providing guidance on the question types found in the M_o_R Practitioner certification exam. It also outlines how to navigate the rest of the course and the use of the scenario later on.

Module 4: The Strategic Perspective

Engage in a scenario-based test situation applying M_o_R from different perspectives. This module concludes with a 20-mark exam, asking students to consider the scenario from a strategic viewpoint.

Module 5: The Programme Perspective

Shift focus to the Program Perspective, exploring the realistic application of M_o_R from this viewpoint. This module also concludes with a 20-mark exam.

Module 6: The Project Perspective

Address the final perspective of M_o_R, the Operational Perspective. This module covers the realistic application of M_o_R from this viewpoint before concluding with a 20-mark exam.

Module 8: M_o_R Practitioner Wrap-up

Summarise all the key points covered throughout the course. Students are advised to revisit previous modules to ensure thorough familiarity with the course material before attempting the official exam.

Practice Exam Simulators

This module includes a short video on how to approach the M_o_R Practitioner exam effectively. It also revisits several useful techniques covered in the course and features two full practice exams, one from PeopleCert and another from GEL.

This course is meticulously crafted to ensure students are well-prepared to successfully pass the Management of Risk (M_o_R) Practitioner exam.

Candidates need to secure a Foundation-level certification prior to registering for the Practitioner exam. Included in the course are two practice exams designed to simulate the actual exam experience.

Candidates ready to take the exam are eligible for a FREE exam voucher (terms and conditions apply).

Requests for exam vouchers are usually handled within 2 business days, though it’s wise to allow for up to 5. Remember to request your exam voucher during the course access period, starting from your purchase date.

Prerequisites:

Management of Risk (M_o_R®) Practitioner exam

  • The exam features objective testing
  • There are four questions per paper, with 20 marks available per question
  • Students must score at least 40 marks to pass (50%)
  • The exam lasts three hours (180 minutes)
  • The exam is open-book. Candidates may use the official printed hard copy of the ‘Management of Risk: Guidance for Practitioners’ guide. The ‘ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques’ guidance document is also allowed. The manual may be annotated and tabulated, but no sticky notes and loose-leaf papers containing additional notes will be allowed.

Digital Credentials: 

After passing the exam, you’ll earn the Management of Risk (M_o_R®) Practitioner Badge, which you can proudly display on your LinkedIn profile to showcase your achievement and expertise.
