The TOGAF® certification program is knowledge-based. The TOGAF certification program is a market-driven education and certification program that ensures individuals have knowledge and understanding of the TOGAF Body of Knowledge.

Certification is only achieved by passing the examination at your home or in your office using Pearson VUE OnVUE delivery or at a Pearson VUE test center.

To become certified for TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation attendees must pass the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 1 exam. This is a multiple-choice examination consisting of 40 questions to be answered within 60 minutes. The Pass Mark is 24/40 (60%). It is a supervised, closed book exam.

To become certified for TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner attendees must pass the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Part 2 exam. This is a complex multiple-choice scenario-based examination consisting of 8 questions to be answered within 90 minutes. The Pass Mark is 24/40 (60%). It is a supervised, open book exam.

At the end of the training, you will be prepared to sit your certification exams. Your exam vouchers will be distributed at the completion of your class, you can then make appointments for your exams with Pearson VUE. The exam vouchers are valid for 12 months.

Individuals who have satisfactorily completed the TOGAF® EA – Foundation and Practitioner course with EA Learning and passed both exams, are eligible for The Open Group Certified: Applied TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner badge Issued by The Open Group. Upon passing your exams, simply contact EA Learning support providing your Candidate ID. EA Learning will then submit your candidate ID to The Open Group for badge issuance. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing.

The Open Group publishes the definitive directory of certified individuals, and issues certificates and Open Badges. The duration of certification is indefinite – certification is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements.

Applied Business Architecture

Now endorsed by IIBA® (International Institute of Business Analysis™) and Eligible for PD Hours / CDUs 

Applied Business Architecture, Version 8 is endorsed by International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) and will automatically qualify for 24 PD Hours/CDUs toward IIBA® certifications. 

Those with the necessary work-history who are looking to sit for either the CCBA® or CBAP® exam can use the 24 hours earned from our Applied Business Architecture endorsed course toward meeting the Professional Development (PD) hour requirement. The CCBA® requires 21 PD Hours to sit for the exam, whereas the CBAP® requires 35 PD Hours. Those with an existing IIBA® certification could use the hours toward the Continuing Development Units (CDUs) needed to recertify their CCBA®, CBAP®, IIBA®-AAC, or IIBA®-CBDA.
